Having the correct ph levels for your pool is vital for personal health and water quality. On site water testing is available and advisable before applying any pool chemicals. Incorrect ph levels can lead to staining of pools which can be difficult and costly to correct . The prefered ph level of the average household pool is between 7.2 and 7.4. Call into Construction & Cutting Machines to book an appointment or to get the right advice to get your ph levels up to par.

The most common pool chemical used for treating your pool water is chlorine. It not only eliminates bacteria & algae with its disinfecting properties, it also oxidizes other materials such as dirt and chlormines.
After a good thunder storm your pool tends to go green. This is caused by the nitrogen released by lightning. The rain washes the nitrogen into your pool. Nitrogen is essentially plant food and algae thrives off it, hence the green colour.
Visit us for the right shock treatment for your pool and many more chemicals like: Pool chlorine, algaecides, salts stabilizers and monthly treatments.
